Roniece Ja'zara

September 2, 2022, by the grace of God, our princess was born.

I delivered her after having an emergency c-section, and I honestly have to say it was one of the most terrifying moments I’ve had to face in my life. But what could I really do about it? Pray, play gospel music and breathe. After being released from the hospital three days later, I would experience complications from the surgery, such as constipation, sciatica, and infection. It soon became one of the most painful moments I’ve had to endure in my life.

I am grateful for my husband, my children (the J Crew), my family, my friends and my colleagues that made this journey worth healing for. I honor my body and how much work it has undergone — how it still functions while nursing my daughter. God is a wonder.

My maternity leave was more like a quarantine. My family took care of me as I could not do it myself. It was an humbling experience filled with self reflection. I’m grateful.

What does this mean for you?

Limited opportunities to receive portrait photography services. Since this is my sixth child, I have experienced changes and difficulty in maintaining my stamina and overall physical strength. I want to prioritize my health and overall well-being, so I have curated intimate portrait experiences for your business and pleasure.

Thank you to all who attended my first event at the beginning of the year. I will be advertising portrait events to keep your images fresh and as up to date as your Facebook and Twitter statuses and posts.

What’s a portrait party?

A gathering of local families, fellow creatives and small business owners with the opportunity to update their professional headshot and portraits. Food and fun also included.

I am resting my faith on this adjustment to my services will render an opportunity to strengthen my body, as well as produce high quality images and experiences. I am grateful to have made it this far in my entrepreneurial journey and look forward to reaching new heights and goals. Thank you for coming along for the ride.
